1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Dhihvaa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Dhihvaa, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid government-issued ID
  • For hosts: Have legal ownership or authorization to rent the vehicle
  • For renters: Have a valid driver's license

3. User accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Vehicle listings

Hosts agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about their vehicles
  • Ensure vehicles are in safe, working condition
  • Have appropriate insurance coverage
  • Comply with all local regulations
  • Not discriminate against renters

5. Bookings and payments

All transactions are subject to:

  • Payment processing fees as displayed
  • Security deposits held in escrow
  • Cancellation policies set by the host
  • Verification of identity and payment methods

Dhihvaa charges a service fee on all transactions. Fees are clearly disclosed before booking.

6. Prohibited activities

You may not:

  • Use the platform for illegal purposes
  • Post false or misleading information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Bypass our payment system
  • Copy or scrape content from the platform
  • Impersonate others or create fake accounts

7. Liability and insurance

Dhihvaa is a marketplace platform connecting renters and hosts. We are not responsible for the condition of vehicles, user conduct, or incidents during rentals. Users are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage. Hosts and renters agree to resolve disputes directly or through our dispute resolution process.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the platform or other users.

9. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Maldives.
