Safety at Dhihvaa

Your safety is our top priority. Here's how we keep the Dhihvaa community safe.

User verification

  • All users must verify their identity with a government-issued ID before booking or listing
  • Email addresses are verified through secure magic links
  • Google account verification provides an additional layer of trust
  • Hosts must provide vehicle registration and ownership documentation

Vehicle safety

  • All vehicles are reviewed before listings go live
  • Hosts must confirm their vehicles are in safe, working condition
  • Renters are encouraged to do a walkaround inspection at pick-up
  • Any safety concerns can be reported immediately through the platform

Secure payments

  • All payments are processed securely through the platform
  • Funds are held in escrow until the rental is complete
  • Security deposits protect hosts against damage
  • Never pay outside the platform — it voids all protections

Reviews & ratings

After every rental, both hosts and renters can leave reviews. This creates accountability and helps the community identify trustworthy users. Reviews are honest, transparent, and cannot be removed by the reviewed party.

Dispute resolution

If something goes wrong during a rental, our dispute resolution process helps:

  • Either party can file a dispute through the platform
  • Upload photo evidence to support your case
  • Our team reviews all evidence and mediates fairly
  • Deposit actions (release, partial deduction, or withhold) are applied based on findings
