Cancellation policy

For renters

Cancellation refunds are based on how far in advance you cancel before the pick-up time:

* Service fees are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before pick-up.

For hosts

If a host cancels a confirmed booking:

  • The renter receives a full refund regardless of timing
  • Frequent host cancellations may result in listing penalties or suspension
  • Hosts are encouraged to keep their availability calendar up to date to avoid conflicts

How to cancel

  • Go to your Dashboard → Bookings
  • Find the booking you want to cancel
  • Click "Cancel booking" and confirm
  • Refunds are processed automatically based on the policy above

Extenuating circumstances

In cases of emergencies, natural disasters, or other extraordinary situations, we may override the standard cancellation policy. Contact contact@dhihvaa.mv with details and we'll review your case.

Early returns

If you return a vehicle earlier than planned, refunds for unused days are not automatically granted. You can submit an early return request through your booking, which the host can approve. If approved, a partial refund will be processed.
